Hall stage

The stage - Tal-Handaq School Hall . Memories of morning assembly. The
headmaster's speech on last day of summer term when we all said goodbye to
friends who would not be returning in the new academic year. The school plays
- I remember developing a schoolboy crush over the girl taking the leading part
in "Pirates of Penzance" - I would guess 1958/59. I never knew her name but
was completely captivated by her beautiful singing voice.
